Some of the teams we beat last year: Oregon, W.Virgina, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, Bama, Arkansas, and Georgia in the SEC CG.

Before Nick Saban came to LSU in 2001, we couldn't keep our best players in-state.

Saban said he came to LSU because of all the in-state talent. When he left for the NFL, Miles continued to bring in 90% of the top in-state talent and has taken our recruiting program national.

Miles has 8 four-star commitments from out of state so far this year.

This is the golden era of LSU football.

i'm surprised players want to play for les miles, he just don't seem bright. same with dabo. seems like the dumbest coaches are the best recruiters.

Actually, DiNardo was the one who reversed the trend in keeping recruits in state. Saban built on that trend and improved it, but DiNardo is responsible for the reversal. But DiNardo made the mistake of hiring Lou Tepper, opening the door for Saban.
