CU is short a few things before it can be special again. Namely a new president, a new AD, and a vocal powerful booster club/alumni to talk over the incessant bad mouthing from the faculty.

Colorado's problems are bigger than just the HC. Plus given the complete lack of in-state talent they'll never be a special program again. Even if they get out of their current hole Oregon/USC/UCLA recruiting Cali at a high level will keep Colorado down somewhat.

I don't care how you spin it, Kent State has never in the history of the school has won a bowl game. They haven't been to one 40 years. There is no way this is the best available job.
