hopefully I'll get to make it over there

I'll be in town running the relay marathon, and I don't know 3 of the guys (5 person relay), so hopefully they are cool, if not, I might just leave them and go alone still

At least you did not experience a plumbing emergency.

A few canebrakes at lunch and now a parish reserve on tap at the chimes.

Good luck, I was considering jumping into the marathon but am glad that I decided against it. I haven't run in almost two weeks b/c of my left foot.

Scratch that, I don't have a clue what I am drinking. I asked for the Parish Seasonal and they brought something with a ton of hops in it, definately not the barleywine that I had from a bottle earlier this week.

Not sure if there was a mixup at the bar or something.

What did that run you? I'm getting back into brewing again after taking a break for several years and would love to get a setup like that.

Fridge was free from a neighbor. That helped.

2 kegs, CO2 tank, regulator, hoses, shanks, drip tray, etc. ran me right at $300. Got it from Keg Connection on Black Friday. They delivered it on Monday.

I'm just going to stare at yalls beers and pretend I'm drinking them as I sit at work and watch files upload. Stupid internet needs to go faster so I can go home.

Winter warmer/strong ale brewed with pecan meal, then racked on a bunch more pecan meal for 2 weeks, then aged on bourbon oak chips.

5BD is a homebrewed DIPA.

FBD: De Struise Pannepot

Not as smooth as I remember the Pannepot reserva being but still a damn fine beer. Too many things to break down. I get chocolate, berries, spice, caramel...

Same with my SBD - Deschutes Black Butte XXIV. This one does not suck.
