Gus first, and he's the only one that falls flat on his face. He's in the SEC now and he doesn't have Cam, or a natural playmaker at all. That offense isn't going to win in the SEC without a natural playmaker and a really solid defense. Plus he'll never beat Bama.

how did he make it work with Chris Todd at QB then? you think 2010 was the only season Gus coached at Auburn? KF has grown up running his offense and will be fine in it with short passes and misdirection...plus we have JJ committed who will be a stud

and we have fricking Ellis Johnson as our DC

nice try though

We understand that it should be at least three years before we have expectations of fielding a really good team. 6-6/7-5 should be considered a success for next year with the change in philosophy and brutal schedule

While I agree that he will need some time, no fanbase is going to sit on 6-6 for three years. Especially one that has made the "biggest name" hire for this year.

Nobody's saying Gus can't win 7,8, or maybe even 9 games. How long are you going to be content with that? I'll answer it for you, 4 years. And Bama will have at least 2 more rings in that time frame. Then the Gus Bus is nothing but tail lights being pushed outta town.

Chizik had the shortest tenure of an Auburn coach in 60 years. An Auburn coach has never left for another job. In fact Auburn has had fewer coaches than most schools. Gus will be at Auburn for a long time.

Spoken by a fan of a school that had 6 HCs in 12 years.
