After the bowl game. I would like to see us snag a good O coordinator for next season and someone who can work well with Les.

What is it that you folks don't understand? Did we not win 10 games this year? Playcalling may have cost us 1 win at Florida, and that's even questionable due to the injuries.

We're not getting a new coordinator.

But I do hope Miles addresses some concerns on offense.

We need more diversity in the running game. Toss sweeps, draws, outside runs, etc.. Besides 95% of runs being up the middle against a 9 man front.

Legit passing attack. All WRs, 4 O-Linemen, all RBs, and QB return. There is no excuse for a poor passing game next season.

If LSU plays every game like we did for 3.9 quarters against Bama. We will go undefeated.

I don't think the O coordination was really our problem this season. We had a first time starting QB who really didn't get comfortable until Bama. I can't really put the Fla on his shoulders.
The defense lost us the Bama game and probably should have lost us the Ole Miss game.

Damn. I hate it when things get boring over at the OT and its posters drift over here pretending to know something about football.

Slim

We can crap on the passing game all we want and I have done it myself, but we had the West won with 90 secs to go in the game and we averaged almost 275 yds passing in our last 4 games.

I wish someone would have stones to ask Miles about the OC position. If Krags was hired to be the OC, and due to the timing of his illness we had to hire Stud for 2011, I'm okay with that. But why not start looking for a full time OC immediately after the season? Obviously Stud wasn't good enough to the be the OC when we hired Krags, but now all of a sudden he quietly has the "interim" tag removed? I don't get it.

We have the $$$ to pay for the best OC in the country, but somehow we just get stuck with the guy who we didn't want in the first place. If Stud was such a great OC, then why did we need to hire Kragothorpe?

And we just accept it like everything is ok! Its bullshite that with the talent we have on offense, that we are still mired in the bottom third of national offensive production.

As this is approximately the 21st time this has come up in the last mth, and the comments are still the same, I'll try a different approach. I've been a season ticket holder since 1961 & I can never remember when LSU fans were happy bout our OC's. Jimbo had a brief honeymoon & then he was vilified like all the rest. So, who has been our best OC in the past decade or so? On a consistent basis?
