Depending on your financial situation you have to make the best choice for you.
I personally would consider selling it and getting a cheap go devil. Same functionality, but it'll save you the tax burden and put some cash in your pocket. If u keep the boat you'll have to drop some coin on accessories to rig it up, plus insurance, etc.

I am fairly certain he is going to pay the TTL regardless and then trying to sell the boat he will take a haircut ...
