For a coach that wants to win and not fight in state schools for talent, LSU IS TOP 5. By the way, you're still wet behind the ears son. LMAO!

Keep dreaming. That is why most of you don't appreciate Miles, you actually believe that LSU can win on it's own and that anybody can do it. You all are silly.

Notre dame? No way Ohio State maybe but not ND great southern migration is killing the big ten schools and urban is having to recruit Florida to build his program

Notre Dame is rare in that they can recruit nationally just based on their name. They'll always be a top tier job, even when they aren't any good, just because the potential is there to do what you're seeing this year.

From the outside looking in, I would say its one of the top jobs in America. Especially at its current state. It's not like you would be taking over a dumpster fire.(tennessee) Personal preference certainly factors in though. Sure there are crazy expectations but name 1 great powerhouse program that doesn't have that?

Was Miles LSU's first choice in 2005? I think he thought it was a destination job. Didn't he pay his own buyout to get to BR?

As far as Urban, i think he wanted less competition, if Les was not at LSU and Saban was not at Bama i think Urban would still be at Florida. Just my opinion though.

There you go again showing everyone that you're just a pup. Ask any of us who lived through the 90's, LSU can't win with just any coach at the helm. I like you, you're funny.

General rule of thumb, if you think everyone is shitty, it is probably you. Idk what you think is missing, but my quality of life has been pretty sweet, and i don't make 3+ mill a year.

I'm not so sure about that. I am a born and raised Texan and I've been going to LSU games for years as a fan. I also spend just about 3 weekends a month in Louisiana to hunt and fish. My wife and I love the state and the people and we are looking at land there now. I've always felt at home here and the wife considers it one of the friendliest places she has been. Yes, we are outdoorsman types and we spend our time on the water so that may be why we are biased. The best I can figure from the people in Southern Louisiana is if you are nice to them you get the same in return. If you are an arse you get double back. That seems fair to me. Any coach that wants to coach a team at a school with character, this is the choice.
