Some, but most of us weren't happy when we heard the rumor. I, personally, think LM is a good coach, even if a bit goofy.

i really think 'some' is being generous, i never saw a hog fan one that was giddy in the slightest about the idea of les.
personally i think les is a good enough coach, i don't like his stupid act tho.
as far as hawgalude being an aub fans now goes- that is some of the best news i've heard all week!

this dude is not going to get it done. I hope and wish he is successful but unless he brings 10 300+ Wisky linebackers for O Line and D Line on board then we are screwed. A power run game with limited passing and we are going to line up with Bama and LSU then you are as crazy as J Long was offering this guy and this dude for accepting the job.
Petrino spread out the offense mismatched the secondary and had some successes. BCS appearance, if you think this guy can get Arkansas to a BCS appearance then you would be wrong. He is a NICE fella but this is Arkansas and we are in the SEC not in the Big 10. He gets guaranteed money and it is the same ole ole experience for us with Nutt. Unless he magically gets super duper recruits than other than the money? who knows.
Maybe his wife likes to go back to Vegas and have some wild arse parties and the Arkansas pay allows her to do that.

CP and GP are great coaches.
Malzahn can go suck a nutt. I never really cared for how he does things. Just seems shady and if he doesn't get those once a year (everyone keeps saying once a decade but lets get real some new qb pops up and sets the world on fire just about every year).
hawgalude i'm glad to see you're an auburn fan now. anyone know if we can get him removed from the arkansas board and placed on the auburn board?

As far as les miles goes. I think he is a good coach but not a good fit for us. He's where he needs to be at in LSU. Would do well at any top program just not a guy that we could rely on to recruit well to arkansas and his Offenses have been atrocious.

Wrong. Look at the numbers while he has been HC, he's thrown for more yards than rushed 3 times out of 7 years, and the year that made it 4-3 in favor of the run was last year when he ran and threw for over 3,000 yards.

If the guy can recruit huge OL to Wisconsin, he can do it at Arkansas. Petrino recruited QB's, RB's and WR's and then went after OL.
Bielema goes after OL and then the skill position guys. Like he said today on Bo's show. You don't build a house from the 2nd floor down.

accno is a drive by poster who obviously did a good job of getting us riled up.
Nobody thinks Patterson or Petersen are bad coaches and Malzahn is love/hate mainly because of Ronnie Floyd and not his coaching ability.
