I was a member of Billy Cannon's freshman class. I may not post much, but I have seen a hell of a lot more LSU games than you young shits. You guys that have thousands of post should get a damn life.

I absolutely agree and have been saying that for years!!!! Our helmet is stale. Use the Geaux font - the current letters look like they're stuck on with electrical tape. The tiger is unrecognizable. I'm all for tradition, but our helmets were changed twice in the 70's to the current design and it needs some tweakening just to freshen it up a bit. Same goes for the jersey sleeve stripes. They're cut off and look absurd. Plus, the shades of purple on the helmet and jersey don't match. Somebody just needs to pay a little attention to this and get it right.

I agree with you completely. But I guess that's how these RANTARDS like it here.
Someone said the tiger came from the civil war badge.....my freaking point exactly. Its so 1800's....even the american flag looked different back then!!!!!! Oh my bad....these rantards might have some other flag in mind!!!

i say keep current helmet for the good luck,
but LSU doesn't need luck,

I'd only want new 1 if fans get to vote--but i guess that'd probly cause
too much angst 4 the athletic dept, still, that would be sweet to see
alotta options/designs..
As long as we rotate-in a few unique helmets
per season, i'm happy,
i liked the white one via Nike/charity/Tulane game while back--
& the metallic-gold and i wish we'd use the dark-purple one @ some point [from 2006]-->

LSU has one of the most beautiful helmets there is. If anything changes with the uniform, it would be to make the gold a shade darker on the jersey and pants.
