everone always talks about "oh tenn has the facilities".. the last time i went to a game at Tennessee.. my only one.. when we got beat by Tenn in 07, you could have told me we were in auschwitz concentration camp and i would not have known the different. it's big but man that place is a fricking dump/graveyard. big does not equate nicer facilities. and ours holes 75k it's not like it's a whole in the wall.

and we are putting the fishing touches on a 30 million dollar football complex.

I'm not disputing that Arky has great facilities, I rank them second in the SEC only to UT.

UT's new football complex is topnotch. Arkansas is hampered a bit by how small the campus is IMO.

Things are alot different than they were 10 years ago..Every SEC school has money and almost all of them have great facilities..I think among the top 10 SEC schools its really comes down to recruiting and coaching..It really comes down to math..If both the east and west continue to have 3 teams each winning 10 plus games a year someone has to lose a few games.

FWIW, here's how Chris Low ranked the facilities in the preseason: LINK

Historically they are number 2 in the SEC to Bama. They have a big history and kind of remind me of Nebraska in that they have been able to do it with out much in state recruiting. With the shape today's SEC is in they need a home run hire. A guy like Spurrier when he went to UF. Someone that is so good they will win and then start bringing the talent back in.
