Says petrino only got a phone interview with Auburn. Fbaum Said it went "poorly" because Petrino got pissed off and the interview was cut short.

Is Finebaum a reporter?... is he being interviewed about coaching searches/hires?... why?... He's just regurgitating what others have reported.

If they asked him anything about his behavior off the field I could see him bowing up on them. He's a pretty arrogant a-hole as we all know. Good for AU not hiring that scumbag.

While anything Finebaum says has to be taken with a grain of salt, I could totally see that happening.
Petrino needs to take another year off and do some therapy. The problem is, if he becomes a better person, he'll probably not be as good of a football coach.
You don't get that crazy over night.

I read that the conversation was basically AU asking how he was doing how his family situation was did he learn from his mistakes ect... and Petrino blew up and said he would talk football with them but not that other stuff

FineScum is a snake. im sure he will be talking trash about SVP on his show this afternoon. He does the same to Timmy B. All nice while on the phone, then as soon as he hangs up talks about him like he is dirt. Because the gumps love it, FineScum caters to the Bama fan base. Anything topic, team, person that the fan base doesnt like he piles on. He is trash, redneck coddling trash

Petrino doesn't interview well.
Petrino is an a-hole of a human that some smart/lucky team will hire and the football team will flourish.
Auburn missed out.

Finebaum is actually very bright and a very legit sports journalist. His persona on the radio has been a huge hit for him. Pathetic of anyone not to see right through it and take it too seriously. Not easy for sports journalists to make a lot of money. Paul is a genius for figuring out a way to tap into the SEC's never ending thirst for all that is college football.
