Christmas Haters Roll Call

Since I've learned to do what I want and spend it with the people I want to be with, I like it much better. I refuse to travel during Christmas because it's way too expensive and a pain in the ass.

same thing for pretty much every cousin and sibling except me. i'm easily one the most responsible out of ~25ish too. it pisses me off thinking about it because they don't buy cheap shite like i'm forced to.

OMG! That pic should be on a Christmas card!
To me, it would be heaven to live somewhere that looks like that at Christmas.

Btw, when I posted earlier about taking a trip for the holidays to some place that has snow in lieu of gift giving, my first thought was you & Alaska. Y'all might have some company next year.

But seriously...some of the most beautiful Christmas songs are the most religious.

I can't really tell which are religious and which are not. Some of them are not too horrible.

Yeah...this isn't in the rotation.

it was playing at the PT's office the week before thanksgiving. So annoying.

Me too, once I was out of high school, it didn't matter to them. assuming I didn't drink and drive.

I generally don't get sloppy around my parents or inlaws though. Nothing good can happen out of that.

three years ago, we rented a cabin in the mountains. And we got a foot of snow on xmas eve into the morning. Driving to town for our massages on xmas day was a pain but boy was it beautiful. Especially when we woke up and there was a buck in the front yard, and all you could see was his tracks in.

Yeah, they also do the "torchlight" parade and fireworks at the ski slopes.

I've never seen fireworks over snow. I would imagine it's beautiful. I'll have to show your photos to my son. I think he would be pretty excited to visit Alaska. Husband hates cold, but he'll just have to deal.

Fireworks in a valley surrounded by mountains are incredible. It echos for a long time, sounds like thunder, pretty awesome experience.
