Advice on leaving a family farm partnership (Posted on 12/5/12 at 9:11 am)
Does anyone have any experience with this? I don't want any money from the other partners, I just want to separate my finances and taxes from my cousins. Its really more an issue of legal exposure than money.
And can anyone recommend a N La tax attorney with a background in this sort of thing.

I've always relied on the family's attorney but he's kneedeep in some things that strike me as well beyond shady. In particular, questionable dealings that have zero benefit for me. I'm looking for a way to separate myself without turning a spotlight on the cousins.
