Jsmoke Thanks again man, appreciate it.

He diff has the geese, at least 2-3 big bodies in the area. With the right set up you can kill them for sure.

2: It takes a REALLY REALLY long time to tie up 100 trashbags to shish-ka-bob sticks

We rarely ever put the rags on sticks. Just spread them out on the ground, and put a rock/clump of dirt on one corner. Wind will move it around enough. If you happen to have any stubble, drape them over the stubble.

3: Geese don't make much noise in the fog

Fog is not real great for rags spreads, in fact I've seen white geese flare real bad once they drop down below it and all of a sudden see the spread. MAYBE an electronic call would help because they would think they're hearing a lot of geese before they see them.

4: 30 shells & 200 +/- white trash bags is not enough decoys

I said that before you went out. If you aren't putting out in the 700 range, you're wasting time. I learned the hard way, I suspect you are going along the same path.

7: speckled belly geese apparently love white trash bags

We ALWAYS limited on specks over a rag spread. Hell, we usually ended up with several ducks as well. The thing is the big number of "birds" or what they think are birds, gives the confidence to look closer.
