Gator isn't a better bowl.....it's by far a worse bowl.
Here's what you need to realize.....regardless of the bowl, the only thing LSU needs is a good opponent. Being in the Chik-Fil-A doesn't mean aTm or SCar is better than us. We finished second in the west and 3rd or 4th in the SEC. We finished ahead of the two teams we beat in both the SEC standings and the national rankings, so it really doesn't matter. Aside from the NCG or BCS, all other bowls are irrelevant exhibitions. Also, since we weren't going to the BCS, only the Cotton would be a better bowl for us to goto than the Chik-Fil-A. I think a LSU/OU matchup would've been nice, but I understand the Cotton wanting the aTm vs BIG12 matchup. Clemson is the next best opponent so I am happy we get to play them. 15 hours time difference doesn't mean shite in reality, so i could care less if we play at 11am on 1/1 or 630 on 12.31.
Reality is we are in a better position of exposure in the Chik-Fil-A than we would've been in the Outback or Cap One. We will be the game everyone is watching, indoors so no chance of the field being shitty, and playing a ranked opponent who we have been competing against in recruiting lately. AS I said before, i would've prefered Cotton, but in the end LSU is in one of the top 4 best bowls of the season according to multiple outlets and has been getting talked about everyday for the past two days on ESPN (radio and tv). It's not as bad as everyone is making it out to be.

I somewhat agree, but ultimately itsLes's fault/tigers for giving the BA a game away, that was an awful experience to witness. Never should have happened.

After the way we finished the year with Ole Piss and Arkansa, in all honesty, don't you think we deserve the Peach and Clemson.
A&M and Georgia have gotten better and better this year, while we have gotten worse. With all the changes in the lineups from suspensions, dropouts, and injuries, we are not as good as last year.
We had a very young team this year, and all that playing time our young plyaers got this season will show up next year.
We get to reload next year because this is the golden era of LSU football.
We will probably wear down Clemson in the second half with our superior depth and overall talent, but we have not been dominate on offense or defense this year.
