Dude come on. Its a freaking sound. Really? Naming your team after a sound? Almost as bad as Magic.
Thunder sounded like the most ridiculous name in sports history when it was first announced. It doesn't sound as bad now because we are used to it and they are good.

I like Pelicans, to be honest. Don't love it though. Crescent City Pelicans is better than New Orleans Pelicans
