So Chief is ours for the long haul

With Strong to Tenn, they should be set for the long haul.
I like Chief, even though the last few games have me scratching my head almost as if I would with the LSU O.
And hopefully Strong raids the Alabama-Georgia-Florida recruiting areas and stays away from LA !
If so, I hope he re-builds fast to give Bama a tougher every year opponent again!

I hope you're right, but just because Strong is the likely hire and a possible good one doesnt mean we're in the clear.
Chief will likely continue to get offers and some pretty damn good ones too througout his tenure here.

I think Chief has been very open about not wanting to be a HC. If he leaves it would be for the same role but UGA offered last year which would have been perfect for him and he declined. Of all our coaches the Chief is the least likely to leave in the next 10 yrs.

I don't think he's going anywhere. He and Les seem to get on really well, he's one of the highest paid coordinators in college football and then there's those Saturday nights in Death Valley.

Strong will make a strong push into Alabama for recruits( especially Anniston and huntsville) and I am pretty confident he will cutoff that Memphis pipeline that BAma basically bought. Tenn couldn't have hired a Better coach for the situation. auburn shite the bed once again.
