Who do yall predict the top 5 players at each position will be next year?

I would say:

QB: 1. Rodgers 2. Brees 3. Brady 4. RG3 5. Peyton.

Rb: 1. Foster 2. AP 3. Rice 4. TRich 5. Martin

WR: 1. CJ 2. AJ Green 3. Marshall 4. D. Thomas 5. Julio

TE: 1. Graham 2. Gronk 3. Hernandez 4. B. Myers 5. V. Davis

First thoughts for me is that TE will be so weak after the top 2-3. Should be some good value in the 2nd-5th rounds with Rbs.

Rice had a fairly disappointing season and doesn't see enough snaps. He may be a little lower than 3

Yea I could see Rice falling but I think his name will keep him up there. I could see Morris possibly sneaking in top 5 for some people.

Looks pretty on point.

Would put Gronk in front of Graham. I think Gonzo comes back and would put him at 3. Hernandez then toss up btw the other two.

Bump Julio out of the top 5 for Cruz/Jackson/Dez. All close though.

I think Dez might jump into the top 5 WRs. He's #6 right now in my PPR league after kind of a slow start, 2nd in WR scoring only to Calvin Johnson over the last month I believe

Your lists look pretty on target with the people on them, outside of maybe Julio. I could see Dez jumping into the 5th spot depending on how he closes the season. Cam and Luck won't be far behind the top 5 QBs either. QBs are going to be even more insanely deep than this year next season.

Gonzo would definitely be in top 5 if he comes back but he keeps saying 95% sure he is retiring. I personally wouldn't take any of those WRs over Julio. Before Julio got hurt earlier this year, he was playing awesome. It has obviously come down since the injury. Dez has been playing great, he just always seems to disappoint when you need him.

PPR, all TD's worth 6:

Rodgers
Brees
Brady
Manning
Ryan

AP
Foster
Rice
McCoy
Richardson

Calvin
AJ
Marshall
Wayne
Roddy

Gronk
Graham
Gonzo (not convinced he is retiring)
Witten (cannot believe I forgot him first time)
Davis

Just changed my list up. This is way too variable.

The problem with you saying this is Julio has been consistently hurt since he's been in the league, and he had injury issues at Bama as well. You can;t put him in the top 5 until he actually can consistently stay on the field. Dez has the two weakest pass defenses in the NFL in weeks 16 and 17, he could close huge and wind up 3rd or 4th in points pretty easily.

I just dont believe in McCoy. The guy was having a decent year, then gets hurt and Brown is doing 10x more than he was in the same offense behind the same awful line. I think BB will take too many of his carries next year to keep him a top 5 RB.

That's his PPR rankings. Regardless if Brown takes some carries, a healthy McCoy should still be right there.

Not sure how you can really go McCoy over Trent at this point, the way Bryce Brown is playing McCoy may lose goal line carries completely next year and lose carries to Brown period overall. I can easily see McCoy turning into more of a Forte type of back with 1500-1600 yards and 5 TDs or so, which isn't top 5 material.

I would put Marshawn Lynch in over Trent Richardson.

Still dont believe in him, but nonetheless its all about where you want to draft him. I wont take him as a top 5 back again.

PPR really doesn't make much of a difference, Richardson is huge in PPR as well. Trent will likely wind up just over 55 catches this year given his averages.

You're right, it's not that much big of a difference. Even if it wasn't a PPR, McCoy deserves talk as a top 5 in any rankings.

We're really splitting hairs here. There's a clear cut top 3 and the next handful of backs can be interchangeable depending on the owners rationale. The stats won't be that big of a difference.

McCoy was super unlucky this year. Dreadful o-line, shite QB play (which hopefully may improve), and a lack of TD's, which are quite random.

His per game fantasy numbers will assuredly go up next year.

The Bryce Brown situation will not be an issue IMO. Look at Houston. Two very talented backs in Foster and Tate. Has not stopped Foster's production.

Well, McCoy isn't going to have Houston's oline next year. Houston is pretty much the only situation where that's happened on a consistent basis really.

McCoy's TDs last year were a huge aberration for him, he's been more of a 7-9 TD guy most his career really.

I just don't see it. Trent has killed McCoy in points this year, and Trent pretty much missed two games due to injury as well. Richardson's upside is top of the charts, I mean his floor for a full season is basically 1400 total yards and 9-10 TDs given his involvement in the passing game.

Lynch would be close behind Trent for me, but Trent's involvement in the passing game pushes him over Lynch by a fair bit for me.

My big board's gonna be

QB:
1.Rodgers
2.Brees
3.Brady
4. RG3
5. Tie- Luck and Peyton

RB:
1. AP
2. Foster
3. Rice
4. Martin
5. Lynch

WR:
1. AJ Green
2. Megatron
3. Marshall
4. D. Thomas
5. Roddy

TE:
1. Gronk
2. Graham
3. Hernandez
4. Miller
5. Daniels

I usually plan out my 1st round pick then roll with what I think is the best value after that so in my league I'll walk into draft day knowing I'm taking one of these guys w/my 1st pick.

1. AP
2. Foster
3. Rodgers
4. Rice
5. Brees
6. Brady
7. Martin
8. Green
9. Calvin
10. Lynch
11. Richardson
12. Marshall

Well, I will not have to deal with this problem, but I do not draft elite backs. QB's and WR's are more predictable and consistent in preseason predictions and there are too many breakouts at RB to start your team with Rice and Forte IMO.

There are so many arguments for Shady, Richardson, Martin, Lynch, etc. It is just too early and there is no one correct answer.
