Value based teasers can be very beneficial. Saw a Vegas guy on twitter say the smartest thing you can do is tease an NFL line through seven and three. Many time teasers hit without being teased but would you have been confident enough to bet it without the tease?

People associate teasers with 10 teams 10 point teasers. Nah. They can provide great value and give you a line you normally wouldn't bet. It's all about pulling the trigger. If a tease helps you pull trigger on a line you like then it helps.

Teasers get bad reps as sucker bets. When tonight 3 outta 4 seven point teasers woulda hit. Raiders, Denver, and Under. Over woulda missed by one point. Clearly sucker bets.

Exactly, not sure I would have played tonight if I wasn't able to tease the spread down a bit.

Nah man teasers are not sucker bets. There are some weekends in the NFL where 90% of the games hit both sides. They were $$ for me last year. I've gotten away from it, but I need to go back to it. Also people tell you not to cross zeros, but I don't buy that at all. Teasers are worthless in basketball though.

As far as the game tonight is there anything worse than betting on a team that straight up quits? There were 6 minutes left in the game with the chance of a backdoor and Denver runs out the clock. Embarrassing.
