quote:I can fish the Lake Pontchartrain estuary any time off the year and have a pretty good chance to do good.
I can post 20 years worth of 5 man limits all day long, go back in the afternoon and and limit on the reds.
I catch at Manchac
I catch at the trestles
the Causeway
The Rigilets
Lake Catherine
MRGO
Intracoastal
Lake Borgne
Seabrook
Lake Maurepas
Bayou Lacombe
Slidell
I've caught fish everywhere and the really cool thing about this estuary is there's always somewhere to go to find the fish if you know how to pattern them.
I honestly can't say the same thing about any other waterways and I fish them all.
