So after dropping the $417 on the swim bait that took 12 hrs to hand make, you still should pick up the rod to make the most of your fishing expierence. So that puts the total up to $1017, maybe they will round down and give you an even 1K.

I would be sitting in the South bay of Toledo Bend, 60 ish ft of water, no structure at all. Other than that I doubt I would consider throwing it. I got a Bama rig hung up last year when they first came out. Sucked having to break the line, $30 down the drain...
