If you can wait until the middle of 2013, or whenever the the 2014s show up, you should be able to get a smoking deal on the older body style.

That's a great idea. It's not like I need a Tahoe right now I just want one. I could run my car for another year. I just don't know if I want to wait that long.

See if they will give you the VIN and go to a local GM dealer and pull the service history.
Always, always be suspicious of a new, low-mileage car in a dealer's used inventory.

Just be sure it's not a lemon-law or a buy back for "unspecified reasons."
Lots of "could not duplicate problem" in the service history.

I drove to Alexandria to look at the LTZ I bought because it was listed for 8K less than one in BR.
