Probably more a case of not being able to prove it. Maybe if her conversion is sincere, she'll tell them where the body is so he can have a proper burial site.

I think I figured out all of her bizarre postings with her name in third person. She's probably using some online reputation defender to flood the Internet search engines with this garbage to hide her association with this murder. you have to dig a little after googling her name to find about this guys disappearance. Fascinating.
Looks like you're dead on .. Nice catch ..

Walt O Reilly has easily lived the most fascinating life on the OT. He's in the middle of everything. Wait a minute...

Maybe now they will solve the murder of that girl found on the LSU golf course in 85 or 86. surprised that one never got mentioned more during the serial killer craze.

I wonder what the full story on this is...that guy seemed pretty sketchy. Not saying he deserved to get killed or they don't deserve to be locked away, though.

That's pretty insensitive to talk about Walt's dad that way

They solved the 1985 cold case murder of my friend/classmate Tina Kristynik a few years ago: LINK
quote:
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP)-- Twenty-five years after the body of 19-year-old Tina Marie Kristynik was found in her Baton Rouge home, a man has been convicted of killing her. An East Baton Rouge Parish jury convicted 54-year-old Vernon Kennedy of second-degree murder Friday night in Kristynik's 1985 rape and beating death. DNA evidence from the crime scene was put into a Louisiana State Police database a day after Kristynik was killed. The case remained cold until January 2007 when authorities said they linked the DNA to Kennedy, who was then serving a life sentence in Georgia for a 1995 slaying in DeKalb County. Yeah she lived on Silverthorn right off Choctaw near Flannery when this happened. Way too close to home.
