re: To those who complain about a hard schedule

GeauxTigerTM "As for our conference schedule, there is nothing inherently weak about expecting our closest conference rival to have to play a similarly difficult schedule as we do"
This is silly. Alabama just recently rotated out of Florida and S. Carolina as our cross-division games, and we just came out of a run through 2006 by Tennessee where they beat Alabama 11 out of 13 times. We've scheduled marque OOC games annually since Saban's been there (FSU, Penn St., Clemson, Va Tech, Michigan). The schedules even out over time as the program's strength rise/fall over time (see Auburn vs. Georgia). With the SEC championship game, Alabama ended up playing 3 of the top 4 teams in the league and finishes with the 3rd hardest schedule in the nation this year (LINK )

Screw alabama and the sec a-hole that come up with the unfair schedules. Rotating all out of division opponents is the only fair way to do it... yet we don't. If you want X to be your permanent opponent then get in the same division with them.
SEC had a great opportunity to make the schedules fair and screw it up again.
It doesn't matter one tiny bit if you think playing Florida is an advantage to LSU or a disadvantage. If it is an advantage to us then that means it is a disadvantage for others... or for Florida. Either way someone is getting the shaft. Why not just make it fair for all the teams? Is that to much to ask for? Apparently it is!

Until BAMA quits forcing the permanent opponent system onto the SEC, I'd kindly ask you to hush. The 3rd Saturday in October is important to you guys now for more than tradition...because it's almost a sure win. Tell any other story to the tourists...

And some absolutely TERRIBLE OOC games. I don't care about your OOC..I care about what enables BAMA to have the inside track to Atlanta. Right now BAM and UGA are benefiting from LSU and UF beating each other senseless while you jackholes get UT and AU respectively.

And it took you until Saturday to do it. LSU had played UF, BAMA, USCe and eaTme...and had we gotten to Atlanta we'd have added UGA. See the difference? We'd have played 5 of the Top 6.

LSU and Florida played 4 of the other top 5 teams in the league without even playing the in SEC Championship game. Even with the SEC Championship game, neither Georgia nor Alabama played as many tough SEC opponents as LSU and Florida.

playing an easier schedule helps you get to the SECCG.
If UF had made the SECCG, they would have played LSU, Bama, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Georgia, and Fl. State. Almost half their games would have been against top 10 teams.
LSU would have played Bama, A&M, South Carolina, Georgia, and UF.
So Bama playing 2 hard teams during the SEC regular season schedule isn't really fair. I don't have much of a problem with permanent opponents, I do have a problem with the SEC giving Bama UK in the bridge year while sending LSU to UGA when we are already at a disadvantage.

How can you believe that bama has a more difficult schedule than LSU. You get those sissyboys in Knoxville and we get the Gators. Don't be an a#$# OK? Second, we played South Carolina and who was your eastern opponent?
Don't come in here and act like a moron.
