Hispanics are people of Spanish ancestry. Maybe a long time ago they were considered white, but I would say Hispanics are their own race. People from Spain are considered white. Hispanic people are different. Many of these people are in general some combination of the original indigenous population and Spanish. In some cases this includes African decent as well.
