sbr2 Member since Apr 2011 8427 posts	re: Far Cry 3 Discussion (Posted on 12/9/12 at 4:53 pm to Carson123987) A tip for you, check the handbook and look for activities that reward you with a white star as they unlock specialty weapons which are far better than anything else. I got a silencer/RD Vector on the first island when the stock version isn't even avaliable until the second island. They usually cost 3000+ though so upgrade that wallet and save up.

Will I be lost if I just start with 3? Is there any tie in at all? I'll probably get this game 2nd hand in the future if I'm not missing a back story

I kinda wish they would stop with the sequels if there is no tie in. It makes folks like me reluctant to buy. Anyone who is a completionist doesn't like to pick things up in the middle of a franchise. I was the same way with Skyrim
