If you can't enjoy this then go the frick away

Excited about the game (except for the fact that my brother has tickets & I can't go cause I'll be on a trip). Still don't like our coach.

Actually this statement is incorrect. From the 1972 through the 1975 seasons, the Sugar Bowl was played on December 31. In 1975, 4th ranked Alabama played in the Sugar Bowl on Dec. 31 and was ranked 3rd in the final poll. On Dec. 31, 1973, no. 1 Alabama played no. 3 Notre Dame. Notre Dame won and ended the season at no. 1. In 1972, no. 2 Oklahoma played no. 5 Penn State on Dec. 31. Oklahoma won and remained no. 2.
