Here's the records of their opponents:

Texans (11-1) opponents record: 54-60

They've played 4 teams with a winning record. Texans have played GB (L), Den (W), Bal (W), Chi (W), and everyone else has been pretty terrible.

Falcons (11-1) opponents record: 38-77

Falcons have played 3 teams with a winning record: Den (W), Tampa (W), Wsh (W), and everyone else has been below average, at best, with their only loss against New Orleans.

Just wanted to get the MSB's view.

Not sure. Didn't research it that far.

Texans are real. Falcons are playing below their talent level. If they continue like this they'll be one and done in the playoffs.

I'm still undecided with the Texans. The Texans have struggled greatly against teams like Jacksonville and Detroit, then show up and blow out teams like Baltimore, while getting destroyed by GB. Not sure if they've hit their peak and have plateaued or not. The Falcons...I think they're a fraud all the way, and that's not the Saints fan in me talking. Matt Ryan should be lighting up the scoreboard with guys like Jones, White, Rodgers, and Tony G.

Every team is a fraud unless they blow out all their opponents.

injuries piling up. Joseph has been hurt most of the year, now out. The good news is the offense is playing really well. They will be tough at home. I'm really hoping it works out that the Texans are the 1 seed and Baltimore gets the 4 so we would not have to play both Denver and NE.

Not sure why these are the only options.

Both are good enough to win it all. Will they? I don't think so.

This is true. If they grab home field, it's over, IMO, Super Bowl bound. If they have to go on the road...not so sure.

Because they have the two top records in the league.

I know it's easy to take the field, but neither will win the SB. ATL is likely a 2nd round exit. HOU will go further bc they have some semblance of a defense and are built better to make a run.

good teams lose to bad teams in the NFL...there is no sure thing...the fact that both teams only have one loss is impressive...both teams just find ways to win no matter what

I see 2 solid teams that are held back by their quarterbacks, and add the Ravens to the list.

I mean the Texans opponents record is 1-10 against the Texans right, or are you not counting the 10 games those teams lose to the Texans?

People never account for this when they talk about opponents records.
