Who is the Greatest Metal Band of All Time?

In the classic era of metal, probably late 70's to early 90's, there were several headbangers to grace the metal scene with their presence.
After much thought and debate, I have concluded that IRON MAIDEN is the greatest.
Their musical talent gave them the unnatural ability to send chills up your spine and force to to rock out involuntarily. Coupled with their catalog of albums in the 80's, they are unmatched, even though they are in the company of metal giants including the likes of Megadeth, Metallica, Judas Priest, and Slayer.
What do you think fellow fans of the headbanger arts?

Metallica's my personal favorite but I can't argue with Maiden.

Metallica in the 80's is at least number 2, if not tied with Iron Maiden.

Metallica pre-black is very likely a strong contender for the best all time, but unfortunately the band made music after that, so it isnt allowed to be the GOAT, however their live performances right now where they only do old stuff trumps any other bands live performances IMO
ETA:
Never question Bruce Dickenson.
ETA 2:
This is one of my most watched videos on youtube and one of my favorite live performances to watch.

I'm partial to Megadeth and Metallica myself. I'm just not a big fan of Dickenson's voice.

Slayer. Everyone else is metal-lite.

That video is one of my favorites. Just amazing how they work the crowd.
Bruce was very theatrical (still is) and combined elements of that with hard rock/metal.

Sabbath is great but I don't consider them metal.
They are hard rock.
They are hard rock.
