Why Coaches Poll shouldn't be counted in BCS Formula

Every MAC coach should vote NIU as number 1 so that they can get the revenue NIU would bring in as a BCS team.

Yep. That's why Saban and Richt didn't even include Florida in their ballots. Cause BCS is all that matter when voting.

Curious to see where Stoops had those teams ranked last week. BTW I think TCU would beat both Northern Illinois & Kent State.

Besides the conflict of interest problem, how about the fact that coaches don't watch the games. How can they vote with any reliability on teams they don't even watch play.

AT least the AP people are likely watching more of the games. The new playoff system should try to get the AP poll back in the formula.
