If Merle is on Team Prison it won't be for long, just enough time to create a schism between Daryl and Glenn. Having said that, the Dixon brothers are way too popular-so maybe Merle goes through a redemption period. I doubt it, but maybe. I also believe that the Woodbury/Prison arc is not over by the end of season 3, entirely too much fertile ground for storytelling to wrap in eight episodes.

Thoughts:
-Rick is awesome, I hope they find a way to kill Shane several times throughout the show's run
-the preview shows Glenn saying "we can end this tonight" to Maggie, double-suicide?
-If Andrea gets knocked up by Gov.Crazy, does she stick around Woodbury?

Finally, on The Talking Dead they mentioned how Kirkman wrote the episode and he comments how it really is like writing a story he has written before, but now with the Dixon brothers. Initially I thought both were going to die this year, however it seems to me that these two are the favorites of the writers room and we could see both survive until near the end of the show.

That would truly piss me off.

I don't think you have to worry about the double suicide theory. In the preview clip, Glenn is actually talking to Michonne when he says "we can end this," presumably he means to return to Woodbury to kill the Governor. Maggie is just reacting to Glenn's bravado. This makes the most sense because the forest scene in the preview shows Mich and Glenn running together towards Rick asking what "he" (Merle) is doing there.
