Surprisingly I believe I received more serious responses when I asked what to do in Monroe, la. Thanks for all responses so far though

For what? A good mugging? Find a Roosters for a bar to watch games at, all over town and great food. Tonight the spot to go out will be downtown by the arena. German Village is what you were referring to earlier. If you have the time to eat and wait go to thurmans for a burger tomorrow. Wait may be long but its so worth it. Or go to Schmidt's if you want some sausage/German food.

The Sheraton is about an $8 cab ride to Park Street/Arena District. I'd head there. There are about 10 bars to choose from. I live very close to the Sheraton actually

If you're looking for somewhere to watch NFL tomorrow I'd go to German Village. There is a Rooster's there but it's small. There are hole the wall dive bars there. High Beck Tavern is a cool spot as well in German Village.

Brio is an Italian style restaurant. A bit pricy, but really good.

I'm telling ya - There's a difference between "Northern ribs" and "Southern ribs"... Montgomery Inn is the best Northern ribs I've ever had. ETA: Now I must clarify that I went to the one in Cincinnati... but I can't imagine they'd be much different. It's a "chain" in that they have 4 locations (3 in Ohio, 1 in KY). ETA2: My favorite Southern ribs are from the original Country Tavern outside of Kilgore, Tx. just so you know what I consider "good ribs" for comparison.

Bogey Inn should have these ladies. And yes to the sluts per capita at Park Street, and with the "slightly" warmer weather in Ohio, expect slutty outfits in abundance.
