Rambo didn't have a good game today. Cooper basically stopped on the deep ball and still beat him for the TD. Yeldon just shoved his arse on one run.

it would help in the run game some too. A lot of times offenses run those off tackle plays and our speed at OLB isn't that great. I still want to see what Hawthorne can do. He missed a lot of games because he was hurt. Hopefully he get settled in this last month of the season.

CJ Mosley says hi, but the word is he may stay for next year.

Kareem has had a very good year. Javier is starting. Cincy fans have been praising Dre for his coverage ability from what I've seen.

True. Next year probably with Hubbard/Dickson/DePriest/Mosley*/Devall/Stinson/Pagan/Ivory all being back, but this year it's just been pretty good.

Would be a good pick, but he's probably a second-third rounder, and honestly we shouldn't take him that early. If we did want another TE Lutz may not go until the fourth or fifth.

Jenkins and Harper are solid playmakers but I for would not be opposed to seeing some more of Quiddus and Rafael Bush in passing situations.

Corey White too. He had a hard time at first but hey, so did the rest of the defense. I thought people shite on him way to hard at the beginning of the year. He has started to settle into the system as the year has gone on. He played real well in that first ATL game.

I know he's banged up right now but still, can't wait to see how he develops.

Like you said,Harper and Jenkins have made some plays to help us win some ball games. Jenkins, with the tipped pass into Harper's hands at the end of the Chargers game and the TD saving tackle @ Tampa Bay. They both have a ton of tackles because of how shaky we started out on defense.

Unfortunately, they have missed a lot of tackles too. Its enough to piss you off when you see it but I feel their pain also. It must have been exhausting to be put in that situation over and over and over again as this defense was trying to find its way at the beginning of the season.

I like IQ, he has a toughness about him. We've seen him make some solid hits on WR's. He blasted a Giants WR last year on Monday Night football.

BOOM

bull shite flag on that play if you ask me

that is too bad...I'd love to see him in the Black and Gold.

I remember hearing those old Friday Night Light reports on WNSP when he was in high school. The caller would give the score of the Theodore game and then go on talking about CJ. seemed like he had 20+ tackles a game, no shite

Rambo never plays good in big games and besides we are both from the same home town I know a lot about this kid that some people wouldn't believe. He's done a lot more than the Badger but just hasn't got caught and let's just say this kid could put UGA into violations if some info came out about his personal life and belongings. You don't want him. All trouble!

Is that a definite maybe? Linkage? Some other words are that he may declare for the draft.

honeybadger-

An LSU assistant back in August told me, "Tyrann is a good kid, but he just can't stay away from trouble. We have given him so many chances and tried to counsel him on getting help with his problems, but he just won't listen and he has to break ties he has made throughout his life with people not looking out for his best interests. There is no way we can let him back on this team. That trust value has been broken and never to be repaired."
The assistant made a great point about trust and that is what will drop him come NFL Draft day in 2013.
Listed at 5-foot-8 and 184 pounds, Mathieu is small for cornerback standards and he is not the most technically sound cover man in college football. But where teams will fall in love with him for is his punt return skills, his ability to play in nickel and dime sets, which are used around 70 percent of the time in the league today, and his ability to change a game due to his great ball presence skills.
Mathieu plays as if the ball is his on every play. He is as tough a player as they had on the Tiger roster and for someone who played cornerback just look at his numbers. In two seasons, Mathieu recorded 133 tackles, 16 tackles for losses, 11 forced fumbles (recovered eight of them), six quarterback sacks, four interceptions and 16 pass knockdowns.
But where his value really will skyrocket is as a punt returner.
Mathieu averaged 15.6 yard per punt return in 2011 and he brought 2 back for scores. We all remember his game-altering efforts against Oregon, Arkansas and also against Georgia in the SEC Championship game last season.
The one thing that will really drop him come draft day is the trust factor. Can a team risk a very high pick on him? The answer is no.
I have Mathieu rated as a fourth round pick right now, but don't be surprised to see him get picked a tad higher.
