LoL at the GOP...Just run a Latino and you will compete. 2 things to consider: Actions speak louder than words (or in this case simply nominating a brown person). and Not all Latinos are the same.

actions speak louder than words. Your half black person-Obama has actions that speak louder than words... alright. And yes we know, that no matter who your pathetic DNC party nominates, they will be the best and the perfect color of brown or black and adored by you and the media.

Yes, and I would argue that DACA played a large part in his election.

My point is that if you think Latinos will vote for Martinez and especially Rubio just because they are brown then you are retarded.

I realize this country is buttass backwards and good is being represented as bad and bad is being represented as good. But even with the full state run MSM control. Would the dems have the nads to nominate the person that started the crisis?
quote:
During Cuomo's tenure as HUD Secretary, he called for an increase in home ownership.[9] He also pushed government-sponsored lenders Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to buy more home loans issued to poor homeowners, in an attempt to end discrimination against minorities.[6] Some believe that this helped lead to the current subprime mortgage crisis.[6][9][10] Edward J. Pinto, former chief credit officer at Fannie Mae, said "they should have known the risks were large. Cuomo was pushing mortgage bankers to make loans and basically saying you have to offer a loan to everybody." LINK

Cuomo would do well, but I don't see him getting the nomination. I agree that he had a large part in the economic collapse. I can admit that F&F M were disasters. The idea of the American Dream is gone.

You are the fricking retard to believe the media spin that 'it is all over' for the pubs, for evah and evah, both politically and geographically. That, you seem to believe that crap about the GOP not evah capturing the Latino vote. Can you say George Dubya Bush, is bilingual and captured the vote? Your savior Obama got so desperate he usurped congress and passed the easy version of the dream act to steal votes at the last minute. Any GOP candidate that is bilingual can offer the basic core conservative issues and win.

My apologies, you are not as bad a political leftist hack as I thought. Check the Community Reinvestment Act Amendment under Clinton.

Nope, but my dissertation dealt with Latino political behavior and I married a Mexican so I feel as though I have a pretty good idea of how Latinos behave in the political sense. W got 28% in 2000 vs. Gore and 32% vs. Kerry. Bush also actually tried to pass comprehensive immigration reform which gave him some good will in 2004. Younger Latinos are less likely to vote for Republicans than they were in 2000 or 2004. And yes Obama's policy change did lead to more Latinos voting for him. His actions resonated with Latinos and this is besides the fact that he has deported more per year than Bush did. And Obama isn't my savior. I'm not a simple minded sheep.

This is laughable. Speak broken Spanish and you will get the Latino vote. LoL

But Cuomo didn't push, to my knowledge, the Commodities Futures Modernization Act and he didn't cause the recession that trigger the subprime mortgage crisis. Saying Cuomo started the crisis is horse shite. Besides, he was just doing what the Clinton administration wanted

You boys and girls better get used to the sound of President Booker for 8 years.
The guy is a MAYOR. He'd have to beat Christie and then serve at least one full term as gov of NJ first. Won't happen before 2016. Try again.

No to derail this thread already but did you see that Bill Clinton was trying to hook up with Jennifer Flowers again while Hillary was a US senator? Clinton is such a piece of shite husband. I can't believe democrats can still use him to support their "war on women" meme.
The Democrats revere Hil-Dawg for sticking by Bill. She made his "glorious presidency" possible. Bill is beyond reproach and the only reason Hil-Dawg is considered qualified is because she married Bill. It is the biggest hypocracy on the planet

So you don't think the democrats try to run mayors for POTUS? Seriously? Why not, they ran a community organizer with no senate experience but radical voting and voting 'present'.

This is a sad commentary on the state of the USA. Will each party try to out "minoritize" the other (i.e., I see your black President and I raise you a Hispanic POTUS nominee and Black VEEP)? frick picking the most qualified nominee, just make sure they are a minority group and "cool". Boy have we veered very far from MLK's dream.
