I'll put actual around 4,000-4,500.

It was a disappointing crowd considering we don't have any other decent OOC home games and it was the first real showcase for the new coach.

I asked my brother if he was at the game. He said no I'm watching the Saints game someplace. I texted back "Pft".

crowd was shameful! LSU should have given tickets to the bum scalpers just to get some butts in the seats for a national TV game.

The students showed up pretty good. I was impressed with the student crowd. Besides that, people stayed home and watched the Saints lose.

Looked like the biggest crowd for a game so far this year. A lot of students came out, but a lot of them had either left or moved to better seats.
Actually ushers are not allowing this anymore unless you have a lower section ticket.

Couldn't watch last night, so I don't know what the crowd was like.
However, if it was more than 100 people, it beat the attendance the last time LSU played hoops the same night as a Saints/Falcons game. I was at the Dec 2010 game with Southern, and there were at most 75 people in the stands (The Advocate said the crowd was 7400, but that of course was paid and a complete joke). Worst teams, game and crowd I have ever seen in Deaf Dome.
I know, Seton Hall>>>Southern & Late November>>>Late December. But if all the other comments about how exciting this team can be are true, the future of hoops is looking up.

quote:You missed a great game. Crowd was average and about what you would expect, from my tv vantage point. Probably 3500-4000. If they keep up this kind of play look for those numbers to steadily improve especially heading into Jan.

That may be the rule, but I know there were that suddenly must have found their seats in section 104 sometime in the second half. Of course, they were very young, college age people.
