I could understand losing one playoff game at home, but all of them?

Serving as a host spot for an LHSAA post-season event is a responsibility and Parkway blew it royally because of this power-tripping bitch.

I think the only reason they didn't get tossed from the playoffs completely is that the coach and players weren't at fault and didn't start shite with Live Oak during or after the game.

As far as the travel expenses go, I'd have a little sympathy for them if not for the fact that the principal brought all these problems down on the program.

I agree with those upthread who said that Parkway should have the penalties reduced, if not completely reversed, if she gets canned.

I have no prior knowledege of Parkway High, but I do credit their kids and coaches for not stooping down to the level of Dr. Psycho Principal and acting entitled like she was. Sounds like they exhibited good sportsmanship throughout the game.

Agree 100%. But taking home games away doesn't hurt anyone but the Parkway football team.

It is also going to throw a wrench in the playoff bracket. Let's say that Parkway was forced to play the playoffs this year with no home games. They would have traveled to LO. Say LO manages to win. This counted as a road game for LO (someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this was how I read the ruling). Hahnville beat #10 St Paul on the road. Hahnville is ceded #23 and LO is #26. With both teams being on the road the higher ceded team should have the home game, in this case Hahnville. Now not just Parkway is getting screwed but Hahnville now loses a home game.

Having thought this through, no playoffs period would be better than the current punishment. Not only are Parkway kids getting screwed because of Mrs. Bougeis's ego, now kids from other schools are getting the shaft as well.
