You can't be serious? The only way Petrino sets foot in Tiger Stadium is coaching another team.

LSU Admin., IMO, won't have anything to do with Petrino.

Twontigah,

If you need enlightenment over the Petrino comment than you haven't watched many LSU football games. I think Petrino made it clear last year in Tiger Stadium that he and Les won't work well together. No way BP settles for a coordinator position. He will be a HC this year.

lsutothetop, I was thinking prior to the the extension, We never know Miles could give it up early. Never hurts to wonder though. I know they didnt see eye to eye last year but time, THE WANT, and little egg on the face can bring about a change

are any other 10 or 11 win teams making staff changes?

LSU made a change at OC after a 11 win season in 2010. Just because we win 10 games doesn't mean there aren't problems that need to be adressed.

NO YOU WERE NOT "THINKING" .....you are delusional. Petrino is a POS who has left everything he touches in chaos

Maybe Ensminger will have a flare-up at the staff holiday party and burn the brats, allowing his wasted oxygen to go to a real OC.

You have to compare apples to apples. You can't compare "total offense" at LSU with "total offense" at every school, becasue LSU doesn't have an offensive philosophy that allows them to run the spread and get 90 offensive snaps a game. They are a run first mentality and get about 60-65 snaps per game. Becasue of this, looking at overall national ranking is going to be heavily skewed in favor of spread teams and against power running teams. A the end of the day, LSU rushing for 180/gm and throwing for 207/gm. We are damn near perfectly balanced and tbh it took us over half a year to finally get the passing game going. While I wish we had a little less predictability to our offense, it still is an effective one once all the pieces are in place.

If you want to see how we compare to toher teams ranked near us, look at yards/offensive play.

ND - 5.9
Bama - 6.6
UGA - 6.9
Florida - 5.0
Oregon - 6.4
K-State - 6.2
LSU - 5.3
Stanford - 5.4
aTm - 6.6
SCar - 5.4

funny thing is Florida and LSU played 4 of the top 10 teams here. No other teams did that. We aren't as bad as people want to make out.

airbornetiger, He started out as a Coordinator, Sometimes you have to be humbled in order to make a fresh start. It's hard to come off as a Pos when you are not THE MAN anymore. Further more, for all that POS business you must admit that he can coach up an offense which is what most of you have been moaning about for most of the season.

Of course because they won 10 games and that 74th ranking is just way overblown out of proportion because the offense is damn near perfect.

Yeah, so rantards can continue to focus on Miles' perceived "lack of team discipline?"

We won 10 games.
No room for improvement.

Really, Petrino???

Why would any school want that loser roaming their campus?
