I don't think some of you know how good we have it.

I've been following LSU football since the 60's so I certainly know how good we have it. Not arguing that one bit. The question is whether we could have it even better. It seems to a lot of people that despite how good the team is, they still underachieve on occasion.

I'm glad Les is staying. If you asked me who I'd replace him with, I'm not sure I could give you an answer. I like him personally from what I know about him, he has kept us out of major trouble with the NCAA, he puts good and sometimes great teams on the field and we are usually competitive.

However, I'm not really too happy that he got a raise and an extension. You could argue he should have gotten a raise last year so maybe this one is just making up for that. It feels almost like blackmail. You don't give your coach a pay raise when he goes to the BCS Championship but you give him one when you think he might be looking elsewhere? What kind of message does that send? Nevertheless, I don't blame Miles for any of this. I think the problem lies with Alleva.

Mostly agree.
I wish sunshiners could understand this. I'm happy with 10-2 if we have a 10-2 team. Our team is not a 10-2 team. We're a 14-0 team. Look at our talent. We're underachieving.
