Agreed. But think of the trouble that Glass, Jr., the other player, and the school can get into for that. Shame on the coach for 1. suggesting it, or 2. allowing it.

yea, didn't have the best interests of the kids in mind. screwing a kid over by making him undeservedly sit and completely squashing the integrity of the game. just an outright pussy move by a guy trying to make a name for himself based on wins and losses in fricking high school soccer.

THIS. I was an athlete growing up so sportsmanship and integrity of the game, whatever someone plays, is very important. Not only that, but I'd venture a guess that these kids know each other outside of soccer. I know we always did. Someone is going to figure out the switcheroo was made and LOTS of people are going to get into trouble for it.

yea i played sports for a long time and have seen all kinds of stupid shite but this is a good one.

Glass does he play high school ball in Louisiana? Because there is no ban rule for reds unless it's in a tournament (most tournies I played in never had a ban rule also)
