My mind was blown the first time I played and saw that you could shoot through walls. "Holy shit! Game changer!"
Back when the buildings on the maps only had one or two entrances. Not 6 like now.

We went from three standard killstreaks to a cluster frick of mayhem. frick I miss COD4 but I don't miss the lack of being able to mute in the lobby. And fricking LOL @ +5/+10 for a kill.

CoD will never be what it "once was" until they stop forcing CQC in the maps.
Sightlines are completely non-existent in BLOPS 2. Take the Blops 2 mechanincs, improved hit detection, guns, etc. and insert blops 1 maps, and you have the best CoD ever made (obviously strictly my opinion).
As far as zombies goes, nothing will ever touch der Riese from WaW (later added as DLC to blops).

This. Bring back the MW1 and BLOPS maps and I will be very happy. These maps are a lot better than MW3 but they do force CQC and its frustrating having to constantly run SMG's and always lose to shotguns.

I believe blops2 maps are slightly bigger than many MW3 maps, but they just have a lot of junk everywhere.

I like MW3 better than BLOPS2. I've hit my 2nd prestige and put the cd back in its case to collect dust.

Or you could play CoD4. The only thing bad about CoD4 is the now dated engine.

Beast Maps? Check
Great Weapons? Check
No bullshite? Check (Save for martyrdom)

If you do enjoy the zombie game mode, make sure you play your first couple of games mic'd up online with people who know what they're doing. There's alot of shite going on, almost too much. I like the more classic style where I don't have to build shit, don't have a bus to catch, etc.
There is a badass new melee weapon that you buy off the wall though. Its like a brass knuckle taser, costs 6000 pts but is

Can't have everything. All I heard from COD4 all the way up to MW3 is "man that sniper shot should have been a one hit kill, IT'S A .50 CAL"
Welllllllllllllllllllllll, now those sniper shots are one hit kills and everybody is complaining.

MW3 was a mediocre game
BO2 is right above mediocre
So i could see how some might like MW3 better. Not much difference in the games, they both are continuing the decline in the COD series.
