Just for shits and giggles, lets throw some numbers out.

According to the ballot, Jordan has 46 tackles, 6 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.

Just for comparison, JPP has 46, 6.5, and 1.

There are a couple of guys with 8 or 9 sacks, but not near the number of tackles.

Now, for Jenkins and Harper:

85 tackles and 2 INTs for Harper. No one is near that. Now, I know what you are thinking, but to me, I'm justified.

Jenkins...91 tackles and a pick. Again, no one close. Plus, all of the big time plays he's made, and I think he deserves the vote.

I understand its not as simple as number of tackles, but I think Jenkins deserves a vote even if you feel Harper doesn't.

They both do, so does Jordan. I voted the same way.

I didnt vote for Harper, although I see your point. I will say his play drastically has improved as the season has progressed.

There is something to be said when your safety has that many tackles. Things like your def can't get off the field, front 7 not making tackles, etc...etc..

Both of them have a ton of tackles. They have been playing very very well this season.

Yes, but there is also something to be said for them actually making those tackles as well. They aren't easy and mostly one-on-one.

please get some votes in for Morstead & Colston too. Reaching outrageous point for Colston exclusion. Morstead the best leg in the NFL now. Bonus points for deep kickoffs and being a historic onside kicker

Oh I'm not knocking them at all. I'm just saying statics don't always tell the truth. For example, a guy making the probowl as a punter. When you have the #1 offense in the nfl, your punter doesn't see the field that often. I'm just saying there is a relationship there.

FWIW, I voted for The Leg and Big Smooth.

unfortunately, there's probably something to this. you definitely get noticed more being in a good defense, as opposed to being in the worst.

You really gotta stand out to get the votes.

Jordan is easily the most productive and consistent of the three.

I really like him a lot.

The Leg

+50 yard per kick average. Not even debatable.

His numbers aren't as good as a couple of other guys, but I know that stats aren't the best gauge. I think he deserves it, but sadly, won't get it. He needs to run over a meter maid or something.

Actually, statics, purely does. You can't argue against statics.

I think we are the only 2 people that recognize him as this. So much better than the quiet storm IMO.
