And that kid is lazy. Worst work ethic I've ever seen for someone who has the talent to play d1

I know he is a high rated player but I think Diarse will be a big surprise. Just hear me out. I say this b/c we have no idea where he will play( regardless of what we think) and from listening to him talk to that group of kids yesterday he has lofty goals for his team and himself and will bust his arse to make it happen. I know we expect him to be good but I think he is going to play above and beyond our expectations.

I agree on Jones. Seems very stiff in his film.

I think Dodd is good, but competition may be a problem with the players ahead of him.

I think Patterson is a good pick.

Every year(recently) we have a 3-star kid who nobody thought would be jack end up starting/getting plenty of playing time early and being a stud.

I think there are more guys who can be ranked high, but fly under the radar or aren't "big names". Examples are Eric Reid, Chris Faulk and Kevin Minter. All 4 star guys, but not discussed much. I think Diarse and White will be those guys this year. IMHO

I see all of this completely differently. Guys that fly under the radar usually are 2*s or not even evaluated by any scouting sites (Rivals, ESPN, etc).

I understand guys may not be 'big names' compared to Nkimdiche, but still big enough to get a rare 4* honor and be committed to an elite program.

Patterson and Hunter in unis side by side will be damn impressive.

I have seen neither play except Hunter on ST but I think they are both prototypes.

dodd will end up starting at center, guaranteed. kid's footwork is outstanding - his offer list laughs at that 3* rating. there's a reason bama offered him on the spot at their junior day last year.

Andy Dodds. Won't surprise me at all if he gets early playing time at C and even ends up starting by the end of the year.

Karl Malone Jr is flying way under the radar. He is about the only 3 star recruit whose name is never mentioned in these threads. I think he will turn out to be a surprise stud from this class before he graduates just due to some of the least likely from Miles recruiting classes almost always turn out to be surprise studs.

Not sure what film y'all are watching but Melvin Jones is a freak athlete. He's going to be a superb player once he gets polished up.

I've never seen any video on patterson, but I saw a pic of him and he looked more like a WR.

Melvin was exposed in pass coverage drills in camp last year. Not sure MLB is his future because he doesn't move well laterally. He's fast once he gets going. He's like a 73 Caddy with a 450 engine. Slow accelerating, but top-end speed is impressive.

How does that translate? Not sure.
