The offer is 100% legit. Officials from both sides are denying for obvious reasons. But Long has Michigan ties and is close to Les. And Jerry Jones thinks the world of Les. The offer was intended to be an offer that Miles couldn't refuse. This is NOT a way to get more money from LSU. Its not Les' style. Ive been told that Les will counter the offer and if they match his number than he will take the arkansas job. The wheels have been in motion since last Thursday.

My guess (strictly a guess from the information ive gathered) from what ive been told is that Arkansas will not accept any counter and leave the original offer on the table and Les can take it or leave it.

So a guy with ties to michigan has more pull than michigan itself? ok.

so wait wait wait.... Les, who makes 3.5 or so is going to ask for MORE than 5.5 million as a counteroffer and if they don't budge he isn't taking it? Think about how fricking stupid what you are saying is.

"sorry, 2 million more just isn't enough."

There is NOTHING to worry about. It's not true unless both sides deny the story.

but it is his agent's style. any agent who isn't doing this sort of thing regularly for his client won't have clients.

that kind of money is absurd and anyone in ark, regardless of how much bank they have, would be asinine to invest that much on a college fb coaching staff that didn't include a list of nfl all star coaches. i can't imagine the brilliant business people you are listing would do something that wasteful.
