It'd be nice to get a new coach in who demands respect and isn't a cartoon character for the media to laugh at and to choke away huge games with horrible preparation.

I'm sure that you are a priest and not interested in such worldly things as money. But for the rest of us, we understand. He's got to make the money while he can. Coaching is a what have you done for me lately business. Today's hero is tomorrow's goat. No fan loyalty anymore.

you think he's worth 5.5 million

That's about what Bob Stoops and Mack Brown make and he's a better coach than either of them so yeah.

Do you go to your place of employment for the love of your company or to make as much MONEY as you can?
Big time football is a business.

Keeping a stable top 10 program is worth much more than $5.5 million.

I feel like you can probably find someone else (who may possibly be better) for about what he makes now... JMO though.

No but he's playing the game properly. He knows we can't go and get a suitable replacement right now unless Saban shocks the world...

It's bullshite but what can you do? You have to give him the money. I don't think people realize how easy it is to frick a college program up quick before finding a great coaching hire.

miles is more likely to go to colorado than arky, IMO.

based solely on the mccartney connections, of course.

People that like money. Just because you live your LSU life on a messageboard doesn't mean the coach who is making $3.75 million reads what a bunch of people who don't know the first thing about getting a wham play blocked say.

We fricked.

What would it be like to be on the receiving end up Miles brainfarts and still lose games to him?

Don't know... maybe. maybe not. Let's put it this way... I'd like to see the guy stay since we've been so stable but it wouldn't break my heart if he left. I THINK we're smart enough to hire someone competent to take his place.
