i've been followng this thread and it is getting pretty confusing.
GT9, apu is a CPU with integrated graphics. while the a10 5800k you initially picked is nice, the integrated graphics aren't going to push ultra or high settings in 1080p. I just built my brother a HTPC with that exact chip and it is great for that purpose and some moderate gaming I wouldn't recommend it for a "gaming" PC. It will work for the build I did for my brother because A) it's a HTPC B) it has a lower power draw than any cpu/gpu combo C) many of the mobo for that socket are not full atx which was important for keeping the HTPC relatively small.

What coyote and blue are saying is that you could put together a more flexible PC that will be relavant for longer if you bought a CPU and discreet GPU. What I am gathering from the parts you are listing is that you don't want to spend more than 230 on a CPU and mobo together. Completely understandable for a budget build but it is not a good idea to buy a 200 dollar processor and put it in a 50 dollar motherboard that could fry every component in your system.
I would advise you to take your time and look on newegg for some combo deals. Commonly, they offer combo deals on comparable and compatible parts which can save you a few bucks. If you hadn't already purchased most of your parts I would've directed you to do some homework on their build your own combos which can save you a lot. you've already bought a midtower case so why not just get a regular ATX motherboard? I bought this Asrock motherboard on coyote and blue's recommendations and it has been very good. In fact I used an asrock in my brother's HTPC and it has been great so far too. In summation, buy a decent atx mobo and a good enough processor now, use whatever old gpu you already have, save up for when a better gpu goes on sale or buy it second hand. It doesn't make sense to buy an APU when neither of the gpus you own can be used in combination with it. The integrated graphics that the apu can provide you aren't going to take you very far for a dedicated gaming PC and will probably end up frustrating you in the end.
