MINT question

I am finally getting around to actually setting up all of my accounts with Mint.
Can Mint track bills that I get in from ATMOS, DirecTV, EATEL, Entergy and Sprint?
I know that Mint tracks all of my financial accounts, but can it include these monthly recurring charges?

Yes mint can include those recurring charges. Mint is basically a transaction aggregator.
I think you may also benefit from www.manilla.com

You track it through budgets.
Just create a custom budget for whatever account and then create a rule that makes that charge auto file as that expense.

Also, one more question about Mint.
I have one credit card. It is through PenFed. I have no problem accessing it through Mint. I also have a small checking account with them. Again, no problem here.
But, I can't get Mint to recognize that I also have an auto loan through PenFed. So in other words, it picks up only 2 of 3 accounts that I have with them.
Any workaround for this?

Mint vs quicken. What do you all think?
I bought quicken awhile back, set it up partially, but need to either finish it out or use something like Mint.

I've personally never have used quicken. I like mint because transactions are real time. I can create rules and manipulate transactions that make sense for me. In addition, I don't have to worry about any updates/importing/exporting historical data because it all resides on Mint's servers. I think one of the draw backs of Quicken is that the software becomes obsolete in a few years and you lose data. Your financial historical data is arguably the most important part of these softwares because it allows you to study your spending habits.
Before you commit to one I would also look at how well quicken mobile works. I probably check my mint account once a day on my phone and the process is seamless. I really like the interface in the latest update.

Is the account actually through PenFed or serviced by them? Do you pay it through the same website? I'm not familiar with PenFed. I have a few loans that are paid through an external website from the bank, and I have to use that site instead of the parent.
I started using Mint about a year ago, and it is great. I searched around comparing Quicken along with others, and found Mint to be the simplest and most efficient way to manage my personal needs.

It will track the bills when you pay them out of hour checkimg account. You might have to play with the tags for a few months but it learns.

The only real drawback to Mint I have found is its inflexibility when it comes to contra-assets vs liabilities and the completely worthless investments tracker.
For the former, no one besides an accountant would be angered by it. For the latter, I just pretend like it doesn't exist.

Investment tracker is worthless. I added a few stocks a few years ago now i cant figure out now to remove them. Seems like they could team up with online brokerage houses to give a end of the day snap shot or something.... i understand real time would be nearly impossible.
Mint Is really good at tracking your spending across multiple accounts... if you needmore than that it will cost you.

Well, I just popped in and set up a Mint account.
Set up a few bank accounts and my house and cars. Funny that it did not have a spot to put what I owe on the house... so I have a nice unexpected net worth windfall! Yippee!
Gonna play with it this week.

You're doing something wrong. I use Quicken and have detailed transaction data back to 1995 when I first started using it, despite the fact that I'm on Quicken 2012.

Add your mortgage account to mint and it will adjust it, assuming your mortgage holder is compatible, my quicken home loan sets up fine

Does anyone seem to think that penfed takes FOREVER to post transactions? I only use my penfed card ford gas so it doesn't get used a lot but it seems like it takes 5+ days to post a transaction...
my chase freedom card is up almost instantly.

I don't have another to compare it to, but on average, it takes about 2 to 3 days for it to post on my account.
