I'm going to buy one of these soon, but don't know if the propane or the electric is better....or is there really any difference? Anyone know? Thanks in advance.....

i had a propane for over a year and it was broken so i bought an electric. even thought it goes against my coonass morals, i have to say i much prefer the electric one.

Just got a Big Easy, and it's seems to work great.

I bought the electric and it works fine. I use it to travel and didn't want to deal with lugging propane bottles since we travel each Thanksgiving. I just plug it in on the front porch and I'm done. I've used propane and I think they are pretty much the same.

Remember chances are you can always find a 110 outlet.

i have had zero problems with mine. i had the big easy, and for basically the reason martini said, i just find the electric one much easier because i'm always on the go and bringing it places.

my big easy got backed into by a trailer and basically got ripped in half.

quality of food is completely equal IMO.
