hmmm. Kent State or Northern Illinois has a decent chance at a BCS.

Whoever wins the MAC title may move ahead of Oregon State and UCLA will most likely lose to Stanford(thanks Speedy).

With Louisville and Rutgers both losing yesterday, the #16 spot should get a MAC team in a BCS game.

This sticks to HOG heaven but I wouldn't want to play another SEC team just to get a BCS bid

Boise St could win the MWC it looks like - could they be a BCS buster if one of these shitty AQ teams are in?

ETA: Looked at the BCS standings from last week. Nobody will make it to the top 16.

They have Oregon ahead of Florida? Both teams are 11-1.

Oregon lost at home to Stanford. Has beaten 1 Top 25 team in #17 Oregon St.

Florida lost at a Neutral Site to #3 Georgia. Has beaten #6 LSU, #8 Texas A&M, #10 South Carolina, #12 Florida State,

This thread is missing all the LSU fans who flocked to the AP thread about us dropping in that poll and all their "doom and gloom just winning doesn't matter" crud. Could it be they actually were more pleased we dropped in one poll than excited about rising in another? Strange fans we have these days.

Voters like Oregon better because their offense and uni's are "prettier"

Saw this on the SEC Rant... but Kent St. is 11-1. Their one loss was to Kentucky by 33 points.

six teams in top 10. Only two get to BCS games. Victims of our own success.

And of the BCS's "social promotion" philosophy. Make sure everybody gets a trophy and feels good about themselves.

The AP poll has not been especially relevant in years.

Florida St dropped.

Still, if K State wins next week we could drop back to 7again.
