they ask u, sometimes...
then u look at em with a blank look and tell them a number that's probably not even remotely close to what u shot bc u don't give a damn about keeping track most of the time

That's OK because the HIP registrations questions are NOT the harvest data and the strata are 0, 1-10, and >10.
(I must not have written that very clearly above)
Most dedicated duckhunters are surprised how many guys only hunt a couple times a year and kill zero to 10 ducks. It's the vast majority of license-buyers.
