Got it recorded for later, but I've been watching since the 60th. While being more aggressive and pressing in attack Arsenal haven't looked very clinical.

Gervinho is so bad, dribbles aimlessly without any control and slows down play.

@OptaJoe: 85 - Aston Villa (85) and Arsenal (73) have been involved in more goalless draws than any other sides in Premier League history. Obvious.

Does that make Arsenal the princes of the nil-nil draw? By the way, still more Europeans championships than Arsenal.

Just curious War, what do you think should have happened based on this tackle?

Yeah, I pretty much agree, especially considering the tackles earlier in the match already, I know some were calling for a red but I think it would have been harsh.

Yeah there looks to be malicious intent, but it was pretty slow/soft.

What? Didn't see the game but looks a definite red to me. Two feet off the ground and he does the scissor motion with his second leg. Of course we all know Scholes can't tackle but that's awful.

It appears that he was going for the ball with his right, but the QPR man did a great job of pulling the ball back when Scholes was already in his slide.

I don't think Father Time meant to scissor him. (Wow, that sentence looks weird.) It just happened the split-second after there was zero shot that he was going to get the ball.

Ok that's fine but never once did you adress the fact that he left the ground with both feet, which is the main reason it should have been a straight red.

could have been a red

we were gifted the game, with the talent that manchester united has, there is no way we should have beaten qpr or anyone for that matter. we needed the refs help (via negligence) to pull out the win or hell, any win we've gotten in the past 20 years. when SAF is gone, we'll likely be relegated within 3 years.

Scholes made enough bad challenges to be sent off today.
